Kennedy- Donald Ellis of Byron, and formerly of St. Thomas, passed away at Parkwood Hospital, London, on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 in his 85th year. Beloved Passed away at his home on Tuesday, April 8, 2014. James MacDougall, of Camlachie, was in his 74th year. He was a loving husband of 27 years to Betty (nee Najdzion)(Lozon) and the late Veronica (nee Kerrigan)(1983). He will be missed by his children Liana and Lloyd Verburg of Calgary, Aaron and Leeanne MacDougall of Watford, Travis and Becky MacDougall of Point Edward, and his step-daughter Debbie and Jan Szeremek of Chatham, his grandchildren, Renee, Jocelyn, Christina, Daniel, Curtis, Laura, Halle, and Sullivan, and his great grandchildren, Olivia, Isla, and Liam, and two more on the way. Jim was the son of William and Margaret MacDougall and the brother of Jack MacDougall, Jean and Ray Metcalfe, Edna Lusby, Fern MacDougall, Robert and Mary Lee MacDougall, Linda MacDougall, Ron and Lynda MacDougall, Diane and Richard Stein, Alex MacDougall, Donna MacDougall, Doug and Dianne MacDougall, and the late Helen (2011) (Murray) Smith, the late Peter (2012) (Anne) MacDougall, the late Lorne MacDougall (1949), and the late Vivian MacDougall (2004). Jim retired from Lanxess in 1999 and farmed in Plympton Township for close to fifty years. He was also a long time member of the Huron Shores Optimist Club, and was their current president. Friends will be received on Sunday from 1 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the WYOMING CHAPEL, 650 Broadway St., Wyoming. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 14, 2014 at the Camlachie Community Centre, 6767 Camlachie Road, Camlachie. Deacon Rudy Terpstra officiating.
