Peacefully, surrounded by her family on Wednesday, July 2, 2014, MARION JEAN HELPS (nee Armstrong), of Wyoming, passed away at Bluewater Health-Sarnia, at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late Howard Helps (1991). Loving mother of the late Sharon Helps-Symington (Terry)(2008), Brian (Milly) Helps, Lynn Helps(Jamie), Keith (Mary-Anne) Helps, Kent (Kim) Helps, Lisa (Bob) Walsh, and Blake (Patty) Helps. Cherished grandmother of Jeremy (Sarah) Symington, Amy (Nathaniel) Erskine-Smith, Matthew (Jen) Helps, Stephen (Afton) Helps, Ian (Cassie) Helps, Jason (Jamilee) Helps, Jackie Helps (Wally), Jeff Helps, Andrew (Kim) Walsh, Adam, Evan, Sydney and Eric Walsh, Jillian, Kristin, and Curtis Helps, and great grandmother to twelve great grandchildren. Marion is survived by her brother David (Pat) Armstrong, and her sister Alice Dellow. Also survived by her brothers-in-law, Ken (Marguerite) Helps, Ross (Maxine) Helps and Gerald (the late Eleanor) Helps, and sisters-in-law Donna (Jack) Bates, Betty (the late Earl) Helps, Jean (the late Gordon) Helps, Shirley (the late Clayton) Helps, Doreen (the late Arnold) Helps, the late Marion (Roy) Leslie, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Bessie and Morris Armstrong, and her brother Donald Armstrong. Friends and family will be received on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the WYOMING CHAPEL, 650 Broadway St., Wyoming. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 7, 2014 at the WYOMING UNITED CHURCH, 730 Second St., Wyoming. Rev. Wendy Milliken officiating. Interment in Wyoming Cemetery.
