It is with great sadness that the we announce the passing of Madeline Marie Denomme, peacefully at home, with her family by her side on Wednesday, September 19th, 2018 at the age of 68. Beloved wife and best friend for over 47 years to Paul Denomme. Beloved mother and mother-in-law to Jeremy Denomme (Louisa Bestard), Jennifer Newcombe (Kevin Newcombe), Rachelle Nguyen (Thuc Nguyen), and Danielle Denomme all of London. Cherished grandmother (Meme) to Halle Newcombe, Carson Newcombe, Leah Denomme, Julia Denomme, Sadie Denomme and Oliver Nguyen. Treasured sister to Martha (Ken) Mungar of St. Joseph’s, Elaine (Pat) Jeffrey of St. Joseph’s, Catherine (late Roger) Shepherd of London. Dear sister-in-law to late Jean (John & Brenda) Regier, late Larry (late Toni Martin) Denomme, and the late Peter (Marlene & George Harvey) Denomme. Predeceased by her parents Russell and Kathleen (Durand) Sreenan and her mother-in-law and father-in-law Adrien and Louise (Bedour) Denomme. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Madeline was a longtime member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church in St. Joseph’s Ontario where she had their cottage. As well as St. Andrews Catholic Church in London, Ontario. Madeline was well known for her strong faith and love of her family. Madeline’s legacy of warmth and kindness is proudly survived through her family, wealth of friends and lives she has touched throughout her life. She loved them wholeheartedly. Family was her home. Though Cancer took her life, it never took her smile, spirit or determination and because of this Cancer did not win. Special thank you to all the amazing and caring staff at Victoria Hospital in the Oncology and Chemotherapy Unit. Their compassion and kindness truly made a difference.

Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 49 Goshen Street N, Zurich on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church, 73334 Bluewater Highway, Zurich (St. Joseph) on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 11 AM with Fr. Matthew George, presiding. Interment St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Joseph. Parish prayers will take place in the funeral home on Friday afternoon at 1:45 PM.
